PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT
- Grow it out: Hair should be about 5–10mm long (roughly 2–3 weeks of growth). Too short = poor grip, too long = more discomfort.
- Exfoliate (24 hrs before): Light exfoliation helps prevent ingrowns and lifts the hair. Avoid harsh scrubs on sensitive areas.
- Stay clean: Shower before your appointment. Clean skin = better results.
- Skip lotions & oils: Arrive with dry, product-free skin.
- Avoid sunburn: No waxing on irritated or sunburnt skin.
- Limit caffeine & alcohol: These can increase sensitivity.
- Pain prep (optional): A mild painkiller 30 mins before can help, if needed.
- Wear loose clothing: Especially for intimate areas — reduces friction after your session.
